What is a bar pendant light?
A bar pendant light is a light fitting which features a linear ceiling rose, which offers a multiple of dropped pendant lights or a continuous bar. Bar pendant lights are available in a hole host of sizes including 2 lights and upwards. 3 light, 4 light and 5 light bar pendants are often the most popular with customers, as these are often sizes that fit well above many kitchen islands and dining room tables. Are bar pendant lights adjustable?
More a less every bar pendant light we sell is easily adjusted making the pendants suitable for a multitude of ceiling heights. There are several ways to adjust bar pendant lights, with different pendants having different fixing methods. A large propertion of bar pendant lights boast cables which can be shortened easily and others boast telesopic rods or clutch systems which can easily be altered. If a fitting is of a heavier weight chain may be used, links are easily altered allowing you to amend your pendant so the light suits your designated installation area. If you have restricted height we also offer a range of decorative flush linear ceiling lights or bar spotlights which maybe more suitable if you have a very low ceiling height.
Do you need multiple wires to wire a bar pendant light?
No, bar pendant lights only require 1 lighting cable to power all of the lights. This is another reason why bar pendants are so popular and easy to install for many customers. With bar pendant lights the width of the light is set, so if you would like to position pendants more specifically or if you have a large or extra large island to cover, adding single pendants maybe a better option, but bear in mind more cables would need to be wired into the circuit.
