Yes, if you are looking to add a lighting fixture above the mirror in your bathroom, it will be required to have an IP rating of atleast IP44 (depending on the distance from the sink, shower or other appliance).
How big should the light be over a bathroom mirror?
We would recommend that the light above a bathroom mirror should be approximately 75% of the total width of the mirror. For example; if your bathroom mirror as a width of 60cm (23.62 inches), we would recommend the light to be atleast 45cm (17.72 inches) in length.
