What is a drum lampshade?
A drum lampshade is a lampshade which is often referred to as cylinder shaped lampshade which has the same diameter at the top and bottom of the shade and gets its name with it's shape mimicking the shape of a drum. Drum shades are generally made out of fabric and are used on ceiling lights, table and floor lamps as well as wall lights and are available in a whole host of sizes and colours. We stock a large range of drum shades, with smaller options suitable for wall lights and adding in groups to chandeliers, whilst we also boast drum shades in sizes up to extra large, ideal for installing in bedrooms. Many of our drum lampshades can be added to fittings with ease and boast E27 ring sizes, which can be easily reduced with the addition to a shade reducer, making them a versatile option. Drum shades diffuse light and baffles can be added to the bottom to reduce glare.
