Mother and child lamps traditionally took halogen lamps, often including dimmable knobs, which allowed you to illuminate both lights independently or together. We still stock a selection of these including the Dar Montana collection, however we now also boast a range of the latest mother and child lamps which are both energy efficient, long lasting with high lumen outputs, whilst also being cool running, unlike the older halogen lamps. We even stock a mother and child standard lamp where the light level and colour rendering can be altered using a a remote - Idolite Mayor. Antique brass mother and child lamps, and brushed chrome have generally been the most popular metalwork choices when purchasing reading lamps in this style, however the more modern versions, are often available in black and gold.
