Kitchen Island Pendant Lighting
When it comes to choosing a light fitting to be positioned over a kitchen island, there are several factors to take into consideration. First of all you need to decide whether the light is going to be used for decoration and provide an ambient light output or whether you require a practical light output to illuminate the island and surrounding areas. It is also important to know what kind of size you are looking for and whether you require a linear drop pendant, multiple single pendants or a cluster pendant. There is no set rule in terms of sizing however we would normally recommend leaving a minimum space of 30cm either side of the light to the edge of the island.
